Job Title:

**Strategic Operations Manager**: Lead day-to-day team operations in delivering sentence and case management services, strengthening community safety through strategic integration of these services.

Ensure seamless operationalisation of prisoner assessment, classification, placement, and case management services, including accurate reporting of critical prisoner risks at discharge or transition to community supervision.

Deliver case management services with a person-centred focus using the Risk, Need, Responsivity (RNR) principle for assessment, planning, and management.

Identify and review prisoners for classification and placement, monitor local capacity utilisation trends, and provide advice on senior management regarding local issues.

Implement mechanisms to ensure Queensland Corrective Services meets statutory and professional obligations, including auditing and reporting frameworks for key performance indicators.

Manage processes to deliver coaching, training, and professional development for staff, ensuring a skilled and productive team committed to community safety.

Develop and maintain effective stakeholder relationships and attend risk management meetings as a content expert when required.
