Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Cost Management Expert to join our Sydney-based team. As a key member of our cost management team, you will be responsible for delivering complex projects and working closely with clients in the Government sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead high-profile projects and manage client expectations through excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and consultants to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Apply commercial acumen to drive business growth and profitability, while maintaining the highest standards of governance and quality assurance.
  • Manage a team of professionals, including cost managers, graduates, and cadets, to deliver exceptional results and support their career development.
  • Contribute to the improvement of our service offering by leveraging your knowledge of the local market, established connections, and industry expertise.
Requirements
  • Recognised degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in cost management roles, with a focus on consultancy services.
  • Proven track record of managing clients, contractors, and consultants in previous roles.
  • RICS and/or AIQS accreditation is highly desirable.
  • CostX experience is essential.
