This is a key role within the Technology & Operations Group at AMP, focusing on delivering business partnering and insights for costs. The ideal candidate will provide strategic support to the leadership team, ensuring cost management oversight and alignment of information and reporting.

The purpose of this role is to capture the true cost of IT through building an economic model. As a virtual team member, you will provide timely and accurate finance insights to drive business performance.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring cost management oversight and alignment of information and reporting within IT & Operations.
  • Building the economic model to capture the true cost of IT.
  • Acting as a virtual team member for the Technology & Operations Leadership Team, providing timely and accurate finance insights.
  • Ensuring that Finance services are delivered to Technology & Operations and their leaders in an efficient and effective way.
  • Working closely with the wider finance team to develop key cost management outputs relevant to guide decision making.
  • Providing input into planning and forecasting for cost driving Key Performance Indicators, both financial and non-financial.
  • Assisting with business case review when necessary.

This is a contingent contract role working at AMP. We are looking for someone with a minimum 5 years post-qualification accounting experience in a large financial services cost or management accounting environment. Experience working in an Information Technology environment would be an advantage.
