Lendlease is seeking an experienced Senior Cost Planner to join our NSW Cost Planning team, driving the production of conceptual and detailed cost plans, estimates and value engineering on a range of varied major projects throughout Australia.

About the Role:

This hands-on position will see you play a key role in Lendlease's construction strategy, working on iconic projects with a high-performing team of Cost Planners and Estimators. You'll have long-term career development opportunities, plus an attractive salary and employee benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create cost plans and estimates for large-scale construction projects, working for a main contractor and/or QS firm.
  • Manage project costs during the concept design, design development phase, through construction cost reporting to final cost analysis.
  • Drive high-quality outcomes, ensuring timelines are met, and manage multiple stakeholders with competing demands.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years' experience in the Building and Construction industry.
  • Relevant University qualifications in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or equivalent.
  • Sound technical skills in measurement and preparation of Bills of Quantities in line with industry and Quantity Surveying standards.
  • Strong local industry networks, knowledge of the NSW subcontractor market and willingness to engage with subcontractors and suppliers when working on tenders and projects.
  • Experience driving high-quality outcomes, ensuring timelines are met, and managing multiple stakeholders with competing demands.
