Job Description

This is a key leadership role within our Sydney office, responsible for managing client relationships, delivering projects, and driving business growth. You will work closely with our experienced team of professionals to develop and implement effective cost management strategies, manage budgets, and ensure timely delivery of projects.

As a Cost Management Expert, you will be responsible for:

  • Leveraging your commercial acumen to support clients in making informed decisions about their projects.
  • Managing teams of up to 4 people, including cost managers, graduates, and cadets, to ensure they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, contractors, and consultants to deliver exceptional results.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes and procedures, and implementing changes to drive business growth.
  • Working collaboratively with other departments to ensure seamless project delivery.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in cost management roles, preferably in consultancy.
  • Recognised degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or similar.
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to apply it in practice.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve outstanding results.
