Logistics Coordinator Role

Maintaining accurate stock records is crucial in ensuring the success of projects. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for advising project teams when supplies are running low.


  • You will inspect delivered materials for defects and notify project engineers, supervisors, and contract administrators accordingly.
  • Collaboration with the contract administrator is essential to review supplier invoices.
  • Working closely with project supervisors is vital to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
  • You will coordinate with suppliers on material deliveries, ensuring sufficient plant, equipment, and craneage is ready for site mobilization.
  • Daily progress, resource utilization, and productivity achievements will be recorded.
  • A safe work environment will be fostered by driving leading hands, laborers, and subcontractors towards project targets.

Key Requirements
  • Prior experience in logistics, preferably within large infrastructure projects.
  • The ability to coordinate and prioritize team activities within complex projects.
  • A commitment to promoting a safety-focused team culture.
  • Demonstrated ability to continually improve performance, deliverables, and work efficiency.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
