The Role: Contract Manager
As a Contract Manager at Assetlink Group, you will be responsible for leading multiple teams across 6 locations, delivering operational excellence and profitability at a significant educational institution. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing all aspects of delivering specialist cleaning services across 6 locations
- Developing and managing business strategies to achieve profitable business outcomes for the contract
- Managing the operational team to ensure compliance with relevant legislation, including Work Health & Safety, company policies, and quality systems
- Managing, coordinating, and planning all activities to ensure client satisfaction and meet budgets and timeframes
- Providing hands-on leadership to team members and subcontractor teams
- Providing strong leadership, coaching, mentoring, training, and inspiration to your teams
- Preparing reports and analysis of business achievements, opportunities, and targets, including risk assessments, cost-benefit, and SWOT analysis
- Developing new business opportunities and managing the contract to achieve sales and profit targets
- Participating in regular meetings with the Client and stakeholders to report on performance-related KPIs and operational matters
Requirements
- Facilities management or soft services experience, or a background within a service industry environment
- Experience in managing multiple and complex operations, with a preference for the education sector
- Proven experience in people management and the ability to foster creativity, innovation, and teamwork
- Demonstrated integrity, personal responsibility, initiative, and the ability to energize, persuade, and influence others
- Prior experience in preparing quotations and demonstrated commercial success in growing contracts
- Superior change management skills, with a flexible and adaptable approach
- Ability to multi-task, be flexible, and work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills with all levels of the business, verbal and written communication, and presentation skills
- A can-do attitude with high energy and resilience
