The Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Asset Manager to join our client's team in Brisbane. As a key member of the property management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and optimization of the company's property assets. Your expertise will ensure that our client's properties meet the highest standards of maintenance, compliance, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Management and Reporting

Develop and implement data management systems to track property condition, lifecycle management, and procurement processes. Provide detailed reports and forecasts to support decision-making and budget planning.

Procurement and Contract Management

Ensure effective procurement outcomes, manage service provider agreements, and oversee the implementation of quality standards and technical specifications. Evaluate and negotiate contracts to ensure value for money.

Planned and Cyclical Maintenance

Develop and manage maintenance schedules for asset refurbishment and upgrades, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements and industry best practices. Monitor project progress and manage variations.

Property Condition Assessments

Conduct and manage property condition assessments and inspections, ensuring that all findings are documented and addressed. Coordinate with contractors to complete necessary repairs and improvements.

Stakeholder Engagement

Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including contractors, technical consultants, and government agencies. Support the implementation of strategic asset management plans and policies.

About You

  • Experience

Extensive experience in asset management, with a strong background in managing maintenance programs, procurement, and contractor relationships.

Knowledge

Deep understanding of asset management principles, building compliance, and safety standards, including fire systems and WH&S regulations.

Skills

Exceptional analytical skills with a keen eye for detail. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results on time and within budget.

Communication

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and stakeholder engagement.
