Aboriginal Health Professional

We are seeking a skilled Aboriginal Health Professional to deliver high-quality primary healthcare services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients in a correctional setting. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide culturally safe and competent care.

The role requires referring, communicating, and collaborating with other health professionals to advocate for the cultural and health needs of Aboriginal patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver culturally sensitive and competent primary healthcare services
  • Perform comprehensive health assessments, planning, treatment, and evaluation
  • Work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment
  • Identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander

Requirements:

  • Valid Australian driver's licence
  • Satisfactory completion of a National Criminal History Check
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
