Property Acquisition and Disposal Specialist

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing specialist property advice to acquire land for future infrastructure projects and dispose of existing properties. This includes conducting sensitive negotiations with land owners, businesses, and other interested parties.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing clear and timely legal and physical right of way to land required for transport infrastructure projects;
  • Consulting with stakeholders to ensure successful completion of projects within time, quality, cost, and stakeholder expectations;
  • Identifying and managing stakeholders' expectations and issues, including high-risk matters.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A relevant degree in property from a recognized tertiary institution;
  • Eligibility for immediate registration as a valuer in Queensland;
  • A current Class C driver's license or the ability to obtain one immediately.
