We are seeking a highly skilled Indigenous Land Rights Lawyer to drive our advisory work on native title and First Nations engagement strategies.

Job Description:

The role involves providing expert advice on land access and co-existence arrangements between proponents and landholders for energy and resources projects. The successful candidate will also be responsible for court representation of parties to native title claims and native title compensation claims, and parties to land access disputes.

  • Negotiating agreements and consultation processes for native title and shared benefits agreements
  • Cultural heritage agreement-making and consultation, approvals, and regulatory compliance
Required Skills and Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have at least 2-4 years post-admission experience and excellent analytical, communication, and research skills. They will also possess strong knowledge of native title and cultural heritage matters.
