Land Transaction Specialist Opportunity

You will play a crucial role in supporting and advising stakeholders on land acquisitions, resumptions, and right-of-way to land. Your responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing support and information to internal and external stakeholders relating to land acquisitions, resumptions, and right-of-way to land.
  • Advising on and implementing processes for undertaking land acquisitions and resumptions, including preparation of land transaction documents and correspondence.
  • Updating and maintaining data and documentation in relevant property systems and ensuring accurate records are captured in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Monitoring and prioritizing work tasks and ensuring quality outputs are completed within required timeframes and service standards.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Experience in land transaction procedures, including land title dealings and administration of land tenures and interests.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and procedures for land acquisition, retention, and transactions across various land tenures and interests.
  • Ability to assist and implement suitable acquisition strategies and processes for the timely and lawful resumption and acquisition of land.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement initiatives and upholding high standards of practice through governance and accountability.
