As a seasoned HR professional, you will be responsible for supporting the people strategy by driving key HR initiatives across employee engagement, performance management, and compliance with local employment laws.
The position plays a critical role in fostering a positive workplace culture, ensuring fair and consistent HR practices, and partnering with managers to enable effectiveness and growth.
">">"> Key Responsibilities:- Build a strong people culture by providing on-ground HR support, addressing employee queries, and fostering engagement at the local level
- Embed performance management locally and upskill people managers
- Support annual processes such as the pay and performance cycle
- Manage local statutory requirements and investigations
- Promote and localize group initiatives around wellbeing and DEI (e.g., First Nations)
- Champion L&D efforts within the branch.
- Facilitate assimilation of new joiners, ensuring smooth onboarding and cultural integration
- Drive local Reward & Recognition (R&R) initiatives to foster engagement and motivation
- Support localized talent acquisition activities where needed
