Urban Design Leadership Opportunity

The ideal candidate will spearhead the development of high-quality, sustainable public spaces and centres.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Formulate urban design strategies and masterplans for public domains.
  • Develop key policy documents that drive urban design initiatives.
  • Evaluate design content of planning proposals and development applications.
  • Produce high-quality design guidelines and 3D models for key sites and precincts.
  • Represent the organization in cross-disciplinary forums and community engagement.
  • Manage consultant procurement, project delivery, and budgeting processes.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Possess tertiary qualifications in Architecture, Landscape Architecture, or a related field.
  • Meet the eligibility criteria for corporate membership with AILA, RAIA, PIA, or a relevant body.
  • Hold at least 15 years' experience in planning, urban design, and landscape architecture.
  • Demonstrate success in leading high-performing teams and managing multi-disciplinary design projects.
