Job Description

This role involves overseeing key projects to accommodate growth and shape the public domain of a sustainable city over the next 25 years.

The Role

As a Landscape Architect, you will provide specialist landscape design and urban design input into council's broader town centre renewal program and work on tier one playgrounds across the city.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop framework and detailed concept designs for key parklands and urban spaces as part of the CBD Renewal Program.
  • Manage special projects arising from the Liveable Centres Program.
  • Prepare detailed designs and cost estimates for recreational, open space and landscape projects.
  • Ensure that all designs are completed to acceptable professional standards.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Landscape Architecture or an equivalent related design field.
  • Current Class C Driver's licence.
  • White Card.
  • Minimum 4 years post-graduate experience in Landscape Architecture.
