Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive the delivery of complex water management projects, ensuring alignment with project objectives and client requirements.
  • Nurture and grow client relationships, focusing on key stakeholders across NSW.
  • Oversee project resources, timelines, and quality standards, ensuring efficient project delivery.
  • Lead business development activities, preparing proposals and presentations, and identifying new opportunities.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Environmental or Civil Engineering (or related field) with experience in water resources/Integrated Water Management within a consulting environment.
  • A strong technical foundation in hydrology/catchment modelling, water-sensitive urban design, and modelling software (TUFLOW FV/Source, TUFLOW Catch, MUSIC, MIKE).
  • Proven project management experience, including planning, budgeting, and execution of water management projects.
  • Knowledge of integrated water management principles, practices, and limitations, including water, nutrient, and energy balance.
  • Ability to formulate project scope and guide client direction of planning projects.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams.
