As a Contract Logistics Manager at DP World Australia, you will be responsible for building and sustaining partnerships with internal teams and customers. This will involve conducting regular performance discussions to ensure transparency and foster strong relationships.
You will also be responsible for promoting innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiencies and productivities, maximising value delivery. This will involve collaborating closely with customers and senior management to develop and implement effective contract administration and service scopes.
Additionally, you will oversee the effective deployment of new operational initiatives, utilising your experience and expertise to minimise risks. You will also be responsible for fostering a culture of performance management among direct reports, encouraging continuous improvement and career growth.
Furthermore, you will be responsible for addressing underperformance, strictly following company standard processes and maintaining a proactive focus on succession planning to meet business requirements.
Requirements:A bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, logistics, or a related field is required. An MBA or other relevant postgraduate degree is an advantage. A minimum of 10 years of experience in Contract Logistics Management, Supply Chain, or a related field is also required.
You will need to have proven track record in managing large, diverse teams and handling complex logistics operations. Familiarity with the Contract Logistics sector in Oceania and knowledge of local regulations and market dynamics is essential.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are required, as well as the ability to liaise with different stakeholders, including customers, staff, and senior management. Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills are also necessary to manage operational issues, logistical challenges, and business strategy.
