Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Logistics Manager to join our team at DP World Australia. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for building and sustaining partnerships, conducting performance discussions, and promoting innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partnership Development: Build and sustain partnerships and collaborations with internal teams and customers to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
  • Performance Management: Conduct consistent performance discussions with customers to ensure transparency and foster strong relationships.
  • Innovation and Digital Solutions: Promote innovative and digital solutions to enhance operational efficiencies and productivities, maximising value delivery.
  • Contract Administration: Oversee effective contract administration and regularly review service scopes to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Operational Deployment: Take the leading role in new operational deployments, utilising experience and expertise to minimise risks and ensure successful implementation.
  • Performance Management: Foster a culture of performance management among direct reports to encourage continuous improvement and career growth.
  • Training and Development: Recognise training and development requirements and actively work with individuals to promote their career growth and personal development.
  • Underperformance Management: Effectively address any underperformance, strictly following the company's standard processes and maintains a proactive focus on succession planning to fulfil business requirements.
Requirements:
  • Education: A bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years in Contract Logistics Management, Supply Chain, or a related field, with proven track record in managing large, diverse teams and handling complex logistics operations.
  • Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to liaise with different stakeholders, including customers, staff, and senior management.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with the Contract Logistics sector in Oceania and knowledge of local regulations and market dynamics is essential.
