About the Position

The Research Support Officer is a key role in supporting research activities of academic staff. This includes providing high-level assistance for grant submissions and administration for awarded grants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver pre- and post-award support to faculty staff for external grant opportunities.
  • Offer administrative support for internal research funding schemes.
  • Ensure timely and high-quality analysis and reporting on research metrics.
  • Advise academic staff on research funding opportunities.
  • Maintain faculty research support systems and data.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A relevant tertiary qualification with subsequent experience or equivalent competence.
  • Excellent customer service and support skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a high-volume environment with variable workflow patterns.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Superior time management and organisational skills.
