Applications are invited for the position of **Research Assistant (RA) at the CMRI's Gene**
delivery systems and genome editing technologies to the development of novel gene
therapy strategies for the treatment of genetic diseases affecting infants and children. The
work will involve a wide range of molecular biology and tissue culture tools and
techniques, including, but not limited to, maintenance and manipulation of mammalian
performing basic molecular biology QA/QC assays, including but not limited to DNA
purification, cloning, PCR and transfection.
The work will also involve the use of small animal models of human disease, including
surgical and cell engraftment techniques.
In addition, the position involves undertaking routine tasks related to the maintenance of
the laboratory and preparation of standard operating procedures (SOPs). This
