Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Rehabilitation Consultant. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Psychology, Rehabilitation Counselling, Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, Physiotherapy, Nursing, or Social Work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage client caseloads and provide occupational rehabilitation services to achieve return-to-work outcomes.
  • Collaborate with employers, employees, medical professionals, and allied health experts to develop injury prevention and workplace education programs.
  • Conduct assessments and implement treatment plans to address psychosocial barriers to employment and identify suitable employment opportunities.
  • Work across various schemes, including workers' compensation, compulsory third-party, life insurance, and employer-funded injury prevention programs.
Requirements
  • Qualification in Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, Psychology, Nursing, Social Work, or Physiotherapy.
  • Registration with relevant governing bodies (AHPRA, ASORC, ESSA, AASW).
  • Previous experience in occupational rehabilitation is highly regarded.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassion, kindness, and empathy are essential.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • A current valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
