Job Title: Professional Practice Advisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Professional Practice Advisor to join our team.

About the Role:

This is a fixed-term, full-time position based in Broadmeadows until 01/07/2026. As a Professional Practice Advisor, you will be responsible for providing best practice advice and guidance to case management staff, supporting their development and integration of theoretical concepts into their work.

You will work closely with the Manager, Professional Practice, undertaking case practice quality audits and providing regular practice forums and education sessions to embed best practices across the region.

In addition, you will contribute to the formation of policy and procedures that strengthen case practice and support regional specific workforce development initiatives.

The role requires travel across the North Metro area, with occasional visits to other locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice and guidance on best practice case management frameworks and theoretical concepts
  • Support the development of case management staff, promoting the integration of theory and practice
  • Undertake case practice quality audits, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions
  • Design and deliver practice forums and education sessions to enhance staff knowledge and skills
  • Contribute to the development of policy and procedures that promote best practice and support regional workforce development

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Expertise in best practice case management frameworks and theoretical concepts
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and motivate others
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop complex reports and recommendations
  • A relevant qualification in social work, psychology, human services, criminal justice or criminology
