Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled professional to handle large and complex personal lines claims. As a Commercial Property Claims Specialist, you will be responsible for producing high-quality work products through prompt and professional contact with customers and brokers.

Your role will involve effective investigation, reserving, and adjustment of claims incurred by insureds. You will also exercise good judgment in reaching final disposition of claims by evaluating the nature of loss, damage, coverage provided, and applicable limits.

You will conduct thorough investigations of all aspects of reported claims, including potential fraud, and secure and/or file all supporting documentation. Additionally, you will effectively negotiate compromise settlements where appropriate and make informed evaluations of damage and quantum.

Liaising with service providers, such as builders and restoration companies, is also an essential part of this role. You will seek technical assistance in handling claims exceeding delegated authority and clearly identify potential fraud and subrogation issues.
