Facilities Operations Coordinator

The facilities operations coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of construction projects throughout Sydney.

This position involves working on homes at the handover stage, coordinating trades and materials to resolve issues, and liaising with clients.

Main Responsibilities
  • Carry out final inspections of homes to ensure compliance with standards and codes.
  • Coordinate tradespeople to complete required work on time and to quality standards.
  • Organize and plan maintenance work, following up as necessary.
  • Allocate resources to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks.
  • Perform minor repairs in a hands-on capacity.
Essential Qualifications
  • A solid trade background or similar experience is essential.
  • Proficiency with project home software is beneficial, but computer skills are a must.
  • A strong understanding of NCC, local building codes, tolerances, and standards is required.
  • A valid driver's license and willingness to travel across Sydney for site visits and client meetings are necessary.
  • Excellent communication skills are required for regular interaction with clients.
