Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Specialist

Description:

The Facilities Maintenance Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities. This includes performing routine maintenance tasks, conducting inspections, and implementing preventive measures to minimize downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and civil systems
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive asset registers for all on-site equipment
  • Plan and manage engineering and operational contract budgets
  • Ensure adherence to preventive maintenance schedules for critical equipment
  • Monitor and evaluate vendors for service quality and statutory compliance
  • Oversee all technical projects and modifications to ensure compliance with standards
  • Implement safety protocols and manage incidents and emergencies
  • Provide regular reporting including monthly engineering reports and risk assessments

Requirements:

  • Hard services experience
  • Facilities management or engineering experience
  • Able to manage multiple sites
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Ideal qualifications include a degree in engineering or building engineering management
  • Project Management skills and Electrical or HVAC licenses are a plus
