Job Title: Senior Manager, Ctc Product Control

At our organization, we foster a culture of adaptability and efficiency. This role involves overseeing daily and monthly profit & loss reporting and reconciliation for commodities & carbon desks.

This position requires a strong leadership background with an inclusive and results-driven style. You will collaborate with trading desks, finance, and risk teams to investigate and resolve trade, position, and cash discrepancies.

The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of traded market risk products, including complex derivatives, and demonstrated success in delivering system improvements and automation using VBA, SQL, Tableau Prep, PowerBI, Alteryx or other analytical and automation tools.

This role is part of the finance team, which supports the organization's strategy of building a sustainable future for our customers.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead the daily and monthly P&L reporting and reconciliation for Commodities & Carbon desks
  • Collaborate with trading desks, finance, and risk teams to investigate and resolve trade, position, and cash discrepancies
  • Drive system enhancements to improve reporting accuracy and operational efficiency
  • Provide strategic input into new product initiatives, including carbon markets and electricity expansion
  • Manage audit walkthroughs and support governance forums such as NFRC and PC forums
  • Ensure compliance with internal control frameworks and contribute to non-financial risk reporting

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of traded market risk products, including complex derivatives
  • Demonstrated success in delivering system improvements and automation using VBA, SQL, Tableau Prep, PowerBI, Alteryx or other analytical and automation tools
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
