This is an exceptional opportunity to serve as the trusted advisor to a senior leader in a high-profile, global organisation.

The role has been designed for a highly skilled and experienced professional who thrives in a fast-paced corporate environment at the highest level.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in facilitating seamless operations, strengthening governance, and fostering trusted relationships with key stakeholders.

This is an in-office position based in Sydney that offers the opportunity to work closely with a direct, clear, and high-trust leader who values capability, discretion, and results.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-level support to the senior leader including complex calendar and travel management, meeting coordination, and prioritisation of competing demands.

• Organise, prepare, and follow up on key meetings, reports, and communications, ensuring all materials are accurate and delivered on time.

• Draft, proof, and edit high-level correspondence, presentations, and communications on behalf of the senior leader.

• Anticipate operational and strategic needs, proactively addressing potential issues and identifying opportunities for improvement.

• Manage and prioritise senior leader communications, including inbox management, ensuring timely and appropriate responses.

• Coordinate and support stakeholder engagement activities, maintaining accurate records and managing enquiries professionally.

• Assist with governance requirements, compliance reporting, and administrative operations.

About You

• Minimum 8+ years' experience as a senior executive assistant supporting C-suite executives or senior leaders in a corporate environment.

• Previous experience within financial services, insurance, or another high-compliance industry is highly regarded.

• Stakeholder expertise - demonstrated experience partnering with senior leaders and diverse stakeholder groups.

• Exceptional organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-pressure environment.

• Strong commercial acumen and ability to operate as a strategic business partner.

• Confident communicator with exceptional written and verbal skills.

• Data literate/data driven - you are confident working with data to inform decisions and identify efficiencies.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, document management systems, and virtual collaboration tools.

• Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

• Professional, polished, and proactive - always anticipating needs and staying several steps ahead.

• Thrive in an agile environment.

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Communications or a related discipline or recognised professional certification highly regarded.
