Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Account Manager to join our team in Mascot. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for growing and maintaining business relationships with Electrical Wholesalers, Distributors, Board Builders, OEMs, Contractors, and End-Users in the metro and regional areas of New South Wales.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a territory plan that maximizes time and effort to deliver profitable sales
  • Identify and target new customers and opportunities to achieve growth targets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers
  • Strengthen Eaton's product and brand awareness in the market
  • Understand products, market segments, and competitive positioning to provide input into strategic growth initiatives and business planning
  • Respond to customer enquiries with a high level of customer service
  • Educate customers on Eaton's product offering and value proposition through tradeshows, industry events, and other channels
  • Provide quotes in conjunction with approved pricing structures
  • Work in a team environment to achieve individual sales targets for the territory and collectively achieve national sales and profitability targets
Requirements
  • Electrical Trade Certificate (desirable)
  • 2-5 years of account management or sales experience (we are also open to candidates looking to transition from a technical role)
  • Electrical knowledge and experience in automation or power distribution
