Amazon is seeking a skilled Reliability Maintenance Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Reliability Maintenance Engineering team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform planned preventative maintenance on a wide range of equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Identify and address potential safety hazards and implement corrective actions to prevent accidents.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve equipment issues and implement process improvements.
- Develop and maintain technical knowledge of equipment and systems to stay up-to-date with industry best practices.
- Contribute to the development of maintenance procedures and guidelines to ensure consistency and quality.
- Certificate III in Electrotechnology with current electrical trade license and Mechanical knowledge or Certificate III in Engineering/Mechanical Trade (Fitter/Turner)
- Experience with planned preventative maintenance systems and fault finding within Material Handling Equipment/Automation systems
- Ability to read and understand electrical/mechanical drawings and experience with conveyor maintenance, motor controllers/inverters
- Experience working to appropriate health and safety standards and regulations
- Experience with computer maintenance systems (CMMS) and sortation machines
- Experience in an industrial environment and maintaining/configuring bar code scanners
- Experience with print and apply machines
