Employee Relations Specialist Job Summary:

The Employee Relations Specialist will support the Employee Relations Manager in developing and implementing workplace strategies, frameworks, and systems that align with corporate goals and operations.

This role requires a close collaboration with the Manager to identify employee engagement risks and opportunities, enabling the organisation to deliver an exceptional, contemporary, and relevant employee experience while mitigating and addressing risk.

The successful candidate will provide expert advice on employment and industrial relations issues, including complex case management, disputes, investigations, claims, and matters relating to industrial instruments.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and execution of Enterprise Agreement bargaining strategy, framework, and governance">
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders during bargaining to ensure engagement and understanding">
  • Provide specialist advice on employment and industrial relations issues">
  • Manage workplace investigations and resolve workplace claims and disputes">
  • Negotiate and manage enterprise bargaining">

Requirements:

  • Degree qualification in Industrial Relations, Human Resources, Law, or related discipline">
  • Significant experience in providing employment relations advice and consultancy services">
  • Considerable experience in resolving HR/ER and employment law issues">
  • Relevant experience in dealing with Unions and related issues">
  • Relevant experience negotiating and managing enterprise bargaining">
