Culturally Sensitive Health Professional
At a federally funded university department of rural health, we have an opportunity for a skilled professional to join our team. The role involves delivering culturally respectful student-led placements with a community rehabilitation alliance at a centre for rural and remote health.

This position is crucial in supporting the clinical, administrative, and research activities of the community rehabilitation alliance.

  • The ideal candidate will have experience in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health, cultural brokerage, and mentorship.
  • We are looking for someone who can work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders and possess strong organizational and time management skills.

A relevant qualification in health or community-related field is desirable, as well as a current Queensland C class driver's license.


About the Role

The successful candidate will play a key role in enhancing cultural awareness and providing cultural support to staff and students. This includes assisting participants in navigating health and disability services and maintaining clinical areas. The role also involves working closely with a team of professionals to improve access to high-quality rehabilitation services for First Nations participants.
