Job Description

Toorak College seeks a dedicated and passionate Health and Physical Education teacher to promote physical fitness, healthy habits, and teamwork among students.


Responsibilities include developing engaging physical education programs, planning and delivering Physical Education Curriculum for students of all abilities, ensuring safety and well-being during physical activities, and collaborating with other teachers to integrate physical education with broader school goals.


Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Degree qualified in Secondary (Health/Physical Education) Education.
  • VIT registration is essential.
  • Demonstrated experience and passion for teaching Health/Physical Education to Years 7-10, and VCE Units 3 & 4 Physical Education is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills and strong ability to connect with and motivate students are required.
  • A proven capacity for innovative, flexible, and research-based teaching practice is necessary.
