Lead Educator Role

This leadership position plays a pivotal role in shaping the educational experience of young children. Reporting to the Director, the Lead Educator will lead a team of educators and assistants, driving high-quality early childhood education and care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and evaluate curriculum that aligns with the Early Years Learning Framework.
  • Mentor and support educators and assistants, fostering a collaborative team culture.
  • Establish strong partnerships with families and the community to enhance learning experiences.
  • Document children's learning progress comprehensively.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including the National Quality Framework and workplace health and safety.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education or an ACECQA-approved equivalent qualification.
  • Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis qualifications.
  • Working with Children Check (Blue Card).
  • Up-to-date Child Protection training.
  • Sound understanding of the National Quality Framework and Early Years Learning Framework.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
