Early Childhood Education Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as an Assistant Director. This is a key leadership role that requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve organisational goals.

About the Role

In this role, you will assist the Centre Director in the day-to-day operations of our organisation, including providing guidance and support to educators and staff. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve early childhood education outcomes, as well as contributing to the development of organisational policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Centre Director in the management of centre operations, including staffing, programming, and budgeting
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve early childhood education outcomes, including curriculum planning and assessment
  • Contribute to the development of organisational policies and procedures, including those related to early childhood education
  • Provide guidance and support to educators and staff, including coaching and mentoring

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A diploma in early childhood education and care (or equivalent)
  • First aid, CPR, and asthma and anaphylaxis certification
  • A valid blue card and current police check (within three months or willing to obtain these)
