Job Opportunity: Protocol and Events Coordinator at the Department of Premier and Cabinet

About the Role: We are seeking a skilled professional to join our Strategic Communication, Engagement & Protocol branch as a Protocol and Events Coordinator. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering events, award programs, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice on protocol, award, and event-related matters
  • Plan, support, and deliver live, virtual, and hybrid events in a timely manner
  • Client-focused with strong event coordination, administration, and relationship building skills

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated expertise in event coordination and end-to-end event services
  • Highly developed interpersonal and negotiation skills with diverse stakeholders
  • Sound project management skills with ability to identify processes and prioritize activities
  • Strong teamwork skills with ability to collaborate and share information
  • Experience in using Microsoft Office suite, especially MS Word and Excel
