Role Summary

Ensures a seamless and empathetic claims process, with special emphasis on handling death claims with care and compassion.

About the Role

Manages end-to-end claims processes, maintains strong relationships with stakeholders, and drives continuous improvement in service excellence. Contributes to efficiency and effectiveness of claims operations, helping to reduce complaints and enhance overall performance.

  • Significant experience in claims administration and case management, focusing on handling Total and Permanent Disablement (TPD), Income Protection (IP), and Permanent Incapacity claims.
  • Proactive approach ensures strong relationships are built and maintained with stakeholders, fostering trust and collaboration.
  • Comprehensive understanding of superannuation and life insurance products, navigating complex situations with confidence and expertise.
  • Exceptional communication skills, articulating complex information clearly and concisely, fostering understanding and trust with claimants.
  • Ability to manage declined claims and complaints demonstrates commitment to providing positive claim experience and driving continuous improvement.

Collaborates with internal stakeholders to resolve claims-related issues, ensuring timely and effective resolutions. Develops and implements process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness. Provides coaching and support to team members, promoting culture of continuous learning and professional development.
