Material Manager

Key Responsibilities:
","p>- ","li>Develop and implement effective supply planning strategies to ensure timely delivery of materials.
","li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage inventory levels, identify opportunities for improvement, and optimize supply chain processes.
","li>Maintain accurate master data for MRP controller responsible (safety stocks, lead time, lot size procedure, lot size).
","li>Work closely with procurement to review opportunities to reduce supply disruption, lead time, and lot size.
","li>Raise purchase orders and stock transfer orders based on SAP required dates, confirm purchase orders based on supplier feedback, and engage in problem-solving related to service level for production planners and first-line managers.
","li>Maintain correct delivery dates on all open orders.
","li>Conduct root cause analysis investigations into the causes of materials being late or in excess inventory.
","li>Report on reasons for OTIF failures for purchased finished goods and provide input to S&OP meetings.

Requirements:
",">- ","li>Minimum 2 years' experience.
","li>Previous experience preferred – SAP, ERP skills, Microsoft Office Suite.
","li>Education (required) – Bachelor's degree.
","li>Other preferred qualifications (preferred) – APICS certification.
