Job Description

The Senior Material Planner oversees the strategic planning of materials, tackling complex supply chain issues and driving process enhancements within the materials department. This role leads a portfolio of its own and provides guidance to Material Planners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop strategic material plans by resolving intricate supply chain challenges and driving process improvements.
  • Manage a portfolio of materials and offer mentorship to Material Planners.
  • Establish strong relationships with suppliers to drive optimal outcomes.
  • Participate in cross-functional initiatives such as new product development and materials substitution.
Requirements:
  • Significant experience in Materials Planning; FMCG background preferred in Food & Beverage.
  • Hands-on SAP experience; planning roles preferred.
  • Previous employment in FMCG in a similar role.
  • Bachelor of Supply Chain / Logistics / Purchasing preferred.
