Job Description

The Hospitality Service Assistant will play a key role in supporting our hospitality function, including catering, cleaning, and laundry services. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for providing exceptional customer service to make a real difference in the lives of our residents.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain legislated workplace health and safety, quality, and hygiene standards
  • Complete required documentation and reporting
  • Respond to residents' queries and requests
  • Laundry duties include loading washers & dryers, sort linen, hang, fold, wrap or iron linen
  • Catering / food services duties include assisting with basic food prep, provide meals and snacks, clear dining areas and dishwashing
  • Cleaning duties include general cleaning; mopping, vacuuming, and waste collection in the residents' rooms, bathrooms, communal and living areas

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Cleaning or catering experience preferred but not essential
  • Flexible availability for a variety of shifts throughout the week
  • You will have an understanding of work health, safety, and hygiene practices and the ability to work unsupervised.

What We Offer

A competitive salary package of $65,000 - $75,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus additional benefits such as flexible working hours and opportunities for professional development.
