Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team, responsible for the servicing, repair and maintenance of large-scale mobile mining equipment.

You will work collaboratively towards delivering high-quality solutions and results in a dynamic environment.

  • To perform general maintenance, breakdowns, services and component change outs to a high standard.
  • Source technical information from relevant manuals, technical bulletins, OEM and computer-based systems.
  • Maintain good housekeeping standards at all times.
  • Conduct required inspections to maximise equipment utilisation.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A Trade Certificate in Diesel Fitting or equivalent.
  • Post-trade experience working in the Mining or Heavy Earth Moving industry.
  • Experience in General Maintenance, Breakdowns, Component Change Outs and Servicing of Heavy Earth Moving Equipment.
  • Demonstrated experience with CAT, Komatsu and Hitachi Heavy Earth Moving Equipment.
