We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Young Person Therapeutic Lead to join our team at CatholicCare Tasmania. As a key member of our Inspire at Home Program, you will play a critical role in creating trauma-informed environments for young people aged 12-18 in residential placements.

About the Role

  • Collaborate with Key Workers, Placement Leads, and Child Safety to conduct assessments, create support plans, and deliver therapeutic interventions that prioritize the voice and wellbeing of each young person.
  • Develop and review Individual Compatibility Assessments, Crisis Support Plans, Safety Plans, and other therapeutic supports to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients.

About You

  • Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, Allied Health, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Preferably with young people in out-of-home care, with knowledge of Therapeutic Crisis Intervention and trauma-informed practices.
  • Skills: Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
