Job Title: Clinical Lead - Head to Health Kids - CAMHS (North) Service

Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated professional to establish and lead the Head to Health Kids Tas Service multidisciplinary team in Northern Tasmania. The successful candidate will have a passion for working collaboratively with existing child and family services to deliver evidence-based early interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and plan the establishment of a regional H2 HK Service
  • Oversee place-based operation of the North H2 HK Tas Service, operationally supported as part of the regional CAMHS
  • Facilitate extensive cross-agency and cross-sector engagement, co-planning, and continuing service coordination and integration
  • Cover the delivery of a range of specialist and coordinated early interventions, in close partnership with the CFLC service setting, School Professional Support Services and other relevant services
  • Provide clinical leadership to a H2 HK multidisciplinary team

Requirements:

  • Satisfactory completion of an appropriate allied health professional course of study at a recognised tertiary institution and registered with the relevant Board or, in the case of unregulated professions, eligible for membership of the relevant professional association
  • Current Working with Children Registration
  • A minimum of 3 years current post-graduate experience in child, adolescent and/or youth mental health or relevant field
  • Training in relevant and appropriate evidence-based therapeutic interventions that are developmentally appropriate such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Family Therapy or Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
