As a Disability Support Worker, you will be part of a skilled team who strive to deliver exceptional support and service. You will provide assistance to clients in their own home environment, supporting daily living tasks, and transporting them to appointments and social activities.

The role involves providing general household duties such as cleaning and cooking, assisting with personal care, and helping clients access the community. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing domestic duties
  • Assisting with personal care needs
  • Supporting clients to engage with their community
  • Transporting clients to appointments and social activities

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of Cert III in Disability, Aged Care or Individual Support, or equivalent experience
  • A National Police Check obtained within the last 12 months
  • A valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle
  • At least 6 months' previous experience working in aged and/or disability care
  • A First Aid and CPR certificate
  • A Working with Children Check
  • An NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Excellent communication skills and a personable nature
  • A proactive approach and ability to work independently and as part of a team
