About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to join the Industry Events team at Tourism Australia, where you will be responsible for providing general administration and operational support to Senior Event Managers and Event Managers to execute exceptional global trade event experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer service to all delegates and stakeholders
  • Process participant data, including registration, accommodation, travel, exhibitor information, and payments
  • Assist the Industry Events Team in event logistics, registration, websites, and digital content
  • Follow up with the industry as required for information critical to their participation at the relevant event
  • Update the CRM database with industry contacts and provide access to register for a Tourism Australia event

About You

  • You are passionate about a career in Event Management
  • You are proactive and passionate about working in the travel industry
  • You have full work rights
  • You have tertiary qualifications in Tourism or Event Management
  • You have previous experience in a similar role
  • Your communication skills are exceptional, written and verbal
  • You are able to develop and foster strong working relationships
  • You have exceptional attention to detail
  • You are extremely organized and able to manage competing deadlines and priorities
  • You are a team player with the ability to take ownership of tasks
