About the Role:

Miller Leith is seeking a strategic and dynamic Head of Commercial to unite and elevate its sales and marketing functions. This role is pivotal in driving growth across multiple channels, including both established markets and emerging opportunities, domestically and internationally.

The Ideal Candidate:

We are looking for a commercially savvy leader with a proven track record in significantly growing market share and entering new categories. The ideal candidate will have extensive senior-level experience in sales & category management within progressive retail & pharmacy channel FMCG organisations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a cohesive sales and marketing strategy that enhances profitability, drives growth across various channels, and fosters a collaborative team culture.
  • Identify new opportunities, improve margins, and strengthen the team following recent changes.
  • Develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies and tactics to achieve business objectives.
  • Lead and manage teams, providing direction and motivating team members to achieve high performance.
  • Manage and build customer partnerships and positively influence outcomes in dealings with the trade.

Requirements:

  • Proven ability to develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies and tactics to achieve business objectives.
  • Strong experience in leading and managing teams, providing direction and motivating team members to achieve high performance.
  • Expertise in identifying and leading the development of new business opportunities, managing key accounts, and expanding market presence.
  • Experience working within an Executive Leadership Team with demonstrated ability to drive business growth and improve organisational capability.
