Inventory Optimization Specialist

As a seasoned inventory specialist, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing store stock levels and streamlining distribution processes. This involves collaborating closely with planners and visual merchandisers to ensure efficient allocation of inventory across various stores.
The ideal candidate will possess strong numerical skills, analytical thinking, and excellent communication abilities. Proficiency in MS Office suite, particularly intermediate-level Excel skills, is also essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain accurate records of store stock levels.
- Profile stores to optimize inventory allocations based on sales data, store size, gridding, and demographics.
- Establish initial store allocations for new ranges, ensuring timely deliveries and efficient distribution networks.
- Review and analyze weekly sales information to address any changes or discrepancies.
- Manage the stock distribution process, including markdowns, promotions, and consolidations.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite – Intermediate Excel skills.
- Strong numerical skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
