We're seeking an experienced Solution Architect to join our Digital team, responsible for designing and implementing cutting-edge technical solutions that drive business growth.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals who are passionate about shaping the future of retail. As a Solution Architect, you'll be responsible for developing high-level solution architectures and design patterns to guide project implementation.
You'll evaluate and recommend technology solutions, ensuring they align with business requirements and strategic goals. You'll also work closely with development, operations, and product teams to translate requirements into system designs.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality solution architectures and design patterns to guide project implementation.
- Evaluate and recommend technology solutions to ensure alignment with business requirements and strategic goals.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into system designs.
- Present architecture designs to senior stakeholders, clearly communicating technical concepts.
- Guide and mentor development teams, providing technical direction and ensuring adherence to architectural best practices.
- Lead design reviews to ensure solutions meet security, scalability, and quality standards.
- Participate in project planning to ensure timelines and goals align with solution requirements.
- Contribute to developing best practices, standards, and architectural governance for solution development.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, assessing and implementing new tools to enhance system performance and capabilities.
About You and Your Skills
- Proven experience in Digital Technology, including roles in solution architecture, software engineering, or a related field.
- Strong expertise in cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, Google Cloud) and a solid understanding of microservices, Integration patterns, APIs, and DevOps practices.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex technical solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strategic thinking and planning, with a focus on driving business growth.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills, with a proven track record of delivering results.
