About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced National Strategic Account Manager to join our high-performing sales team in Canning Vale. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing new and growing existing sales while improving customer engagement by building high-level strategic customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Grow Sales: Develop new and existing customer relationships to grow and maximize sales revenue and trading margins.
  • Provide Sales Forecasts: Provide monthly sales and margin forecasts as well as reporting on actual results and national activity.
  • Maintain Stakeholder Relationships: Maintain trusted, effective, and productive relationships with key, high-value internal and external stakeholders of all levels.
  • Build Partnerships: Build partnerships and work collaboratively with others to meet and support shared objectives.
  • Coordinate Sales Efforts: Excellent working relationships across all key stakeholders within Blackwoods, including Demand Planning, Supply Chain, and Purchasing teams to ensure a well-coordinated approach to serve and sell to customers.
Requirements
  • Current Driver's License: A current driver's license and willingness to travel when required.
  • Industry Experience: At least 5 years' experience within the manufacturing, mining, or construction industries.
  • Engagement and Influence: Demonstrated ability to engage and influence multiple functions in a large complex business with a growth mindset.
  • Project Management: Proven background in project management, with experience in sales and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced in Microsoft suites, with strong Excel experience and the ability to present operational reports.
  • Desirable Skills: Experience with Microsoft Dynamics, Power BI, and CRM (desirable, not essential).
