Commercial Tiling and Waterproofing Technician

Join our team to apply for the role of Commercial Tiling and Waterproofing Technician, where you will have the opportunity to work on high-performance tiling and epoxy systems across commercial and industrial settings.

You will be responsible for installing chemically resistant epoxy grouts and adhesives, waterproof membranes, and heavy-duty coatings in places like commercial kitchens, aquatic centers, food processing plants, and industrial facilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Apply water-washable epoxy grout and adhesive systems for ceramic tile installation
  • Install waterproofing membranes (e.g., rubberised bituminous, polyurethane-based) under tiles and renders
  • Prepare substrates, clean, apply primers, and grout according to technical specifications
  • Ensure proper curing and finish quality, even in low-temperature environments
  • Operate with a single point of responsibility mindset—supporting projects from tiling to waterproofing
  • Maintain site safety, hygiene, and quality control on demanding job sites

Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience in tile installation, especially using epoxy or high-performance chemical-resistant systems
  • Skilled with trowel-applied toppings, renders, or epoxy coatings
  • Attentive to detail in prep, mixing, and finish—ensuring clean, durable installations
  • Comfortable working in commercial kitchens, aquatic centers, or food-industry environments
  • WHS awareness and ability to follow on-site safety protocols
  • Strong communication and ability to collaborate with project teams
