Job Title: Skilled Tradesperson - Tiling Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced tiler to join our team in Adelaide, SA.

About the Role:

  • Lay tiles as per customer order/specifications, patterns, layouts and ensure high-quality finishes
  • Prepare job sites by measuring, marking out the area, and arranging the tiles in patterns as per work orders
  • Apply the required amount of adhesive to prepared areas and tiles to ensure proper bonding
  • Cut tiles to the needed sizes and shapes using relevant tools and equipment
  • Work with different types of tiles such as travertine, porcelain, limestone, ceramic and mosaic
  • Clean, prep and prime walls and floors, including removing old tiles, grout and adhesive, filling holes or cracks for a smooth base and perform general cleaning tasks
  • Prioritize attention to detail to ensure tiles are spaced evenly and meet quality standards
  • Install waterproofing systems on designated surfaces (if required)

Requirements:

  • Certificate IV in Wall and Floor Tiling or Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling with on-the-job training or 2 years post-qualification experience
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a skilled Wall and Floor Tiler
  • Good practical skills and ability to follow design plans
  • Above-average accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
